feminPEM aims to provide a unique conference networking opportunity for allies and advocates of women working in pediatric emergency medicine (PEM). Our goal is to highlight challenges and solutions for promoting equity and advancement of women in our professional field.

This is a one-day conference consisting of a keynote address, TED-style personal talks, breakout sessions, and some unique & creative networking activities.
The conference includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, a little bit of swag, and a LOT of energy and inspiration.

Medical Student Ambassadors
One of the unique features of the feminPEM conference is our medical student ambassador role. Each year, 2-4 medical students are selected from a diverse group of applicants to serve as conference ambassadors.
The primary role of a student ambassador includes:

Planning and promoting the conference

Assisting with CME content creation

Coordinating day-of logistics, wayfinding, Q&A, and more
Student ambassadors also:

Participate in one-on-one adademic & career mentoring

Meet & network with PEM providers from across the country

Attend the 2025 FeminPEM conference free of charge
